As a global leader in real estate services, Colliers' global project management office needed to store monthly versions of its commercial construction budgets and project RAID Logs for historical records and on-demand client reporting. Additionally, they required the ability to publish a monthly read-only report accessible from a secure client portal outside of Planview AdaptiveWork.

Given the number of active projects and the extensive nature of the project budgets and accounting components, we developed an application outside of AdaptiveWork. This application leveraged the AdaptiveWork API to automatically check each project’s version schedule and create a single custom object containing copies of all key elements in AdaptiveWork.

To publish the report in their customer portal, they needed a read-only link, but this feature could not be automated directly via the web services. Due to the system's constraints, we created an automated Bot that would sign in to AdaptiveWork, generate the report access link, and store it in a database for publishing the report link in the client portal. Additionally, we created custom pages in AdaptiveWork to display and manage version details, while enhancing the user experience.

BOTs were utilized to gather data elements that were not accessible through the API. This automation minimized the need for manual data collection across global projects and ensured compliance.

During a hospital merger, it was crucial to gain a clear understanding of resource utilization and capacity to ensure a smooth transition and optimal operational efficiency. Rady Children's Health had a significant number of resources allocated to non-project work in ServiceNow but lacked visibility into how they were being utilized.

To address this gap, we used MuleSoft to integrate ServiceNow with Planview AdaptiveWork. This integration enabled the hospital to leverage native Time Reporting, Capacity-planning and Resource-utilization features across both its project portfolio and non-project activities. As a result, they were able to align resources to complete the merger integration.

KFORCE is an award-winning professional staffing firm that specializes in providing staffing resources and teams for a diverse range of clients, including 70% of Fortune 100 companies. Their sales and operations team faced a challenge in converting their Excel-based staffing models and budgets into an AdaptiveWork project. Although the team could manually input the data into the system, this approach posed an adoption barrier.

To overcome this challenge, we developed a desktop application that reads Excel files and automatically creates an AdaptiveWork project with project-based rates, staffing requests, and capacity planning elements. This application streamlined Kforce's bid-to-project process, making it more efficient.

During Comcast's Agile transformation in Product Management, the company aimed to align its governance processes with its agile product development efforts. While AdaptiveWork does not offer a complete Agile solution, it does have essential building blocks and critical components that many agile tools lack.

We designed a solution that utilized the key components necessary for resource sprint planning and product release scheduling. For features that were not available within AdaptiveWork, we incorporated custom objects and linked them to the standard components. Additionally, we created a Java-based burndown report panel that automatically synchronizes with the work plan, providing a Tableau-like experience at a lower cost.
